Glen Helen Amphitheater Rules

Glen Helen Amphitheater would like you to read and review the following rules and guidelines. These policies are put in place so that all guests can have a safe and enjoyable visit. Any guest in violation of these rules may be expelled without refund. If you have any questions please call (909) 880-6500.

The Glen Helen Amphitheater has rules that patrons must follow. These are in place for your safety and to provide the best possible experience for all patrons attending concerts. Please follow official venue rules for the best possible experience and safety of all patrons. The official venue site is here.

Admission and ticketing

When it comes to admission, all attendees must have a valid ticket to enter the amphitheater. Tickets are typically available for purchase online, at the box office, or through an authorized third-party vendor. There is also no re-entry to the venue once you’ve exited. It’s important to make sure you bring everything you need for the event before entering. 

Security screening

Before you arrive at the venue, it’s important to note that there is a bag check process. This means, if you are bringing a bag, purse, backpack, or any other personal item, they will be thoroughly checked before you enter. Guests are encouraged to bring small, clear bags for easy entry. 

Metal detectors might also be used, as well as wand screenings, to ensure the safety of all attendees. 

Alcohol Policy

Glen Helen Amphitheater offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue. A valid and current Driver License or State ID card is required to purchase alcohol. Guests will be required to show ID every time they purchase.

Animals Policy

Service animals are permitted inside the venue during events.

Bag Policy

Clear bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” or small clutch bags up to 6” x 9” (doesn’t have to be clear) are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry.

All bags are subject to search upon entry. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle. Surrendered items will not be returned.

Camera Policy

SUBJECT TO CHANGE – The standard venue policy allows camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras. Any camera that has a detachable lens will be considered professional and not allowed in. If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1in. it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed in. Some artists do not permit cameras so please check back for the show you will be attending to ensure that the venue will be allowing cameras in.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can occur in the event of severe weather, artist cancellation, or an act of nature. In the event of a cancellation, local media will be notified and any information about a potential reschedule will be made available. Refunds should be available at the point of purchase.

Cashless Venue Policy

All concession stands take Visa / MasterCard / Discover and American Express. All merchandise stands take all major credit cards. Cash to card located at the General Store in Plaza B.

Cell Phone Policy

Generally, cell phones are permitted in the venue. On occasions, comedy shows in particular, cell phone usage may not be allowed due to artist requests.

Children Policy

Most events are all ages. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit on a parent’s lap.

Conceal Carry Policy

Live Nation / Glen Helen Amphitheater does not allow weapons on property. Guests should follow all applicable laws regarding securing a weapon in a vehicle if they have it on them when they arrive. The venue will not secure weapons and will take no responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles.

Guest Code of Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with venue policy, state and local laws. Any guest that is acting in a manner that venue management deems unsafe can be subject to eviction. If a guest violates a state or local law, they will be subject to any tickets or punishment deemed necessary by local law enforcement. The venue staff reserve the right to deny entry to any guest for any reason or no reason. If a guest is denied entry to any event, such guest will be issued a refund of the face value of the ticket for the event.

Lost and Found Policy

If you lose an item while you are at an event, you can visit the Guest Service booths located in both A and B plaza to see if it has been turned in. You may also call the venue after the show to check.

Mobile Entry Policy

Your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print.

Permitted Items Policy

The following items are ALLOWED to be brought into the venue:

» Small clutch up to 6” x 9”
» Clear, plastic, or PVC tote bag no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″
» Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable or external zoom lenses
» Signs 8.5″ x 11″ or smaller only
» Food – in a clear, 1-gallon Ziplock bag
» Water – up to 1 gallon in a factory-sealed plastic bottle (Not frozen)
» Lotion sunblock
» Hats
» Sealed tampons
» Sealed chapstick
» Vape pens/E-cigarettes (NO refill juice/extra tanks)
» Small towels
» Low back beach chairs

Prohibited Items Policy

The following items NOT-ALLOWED to be brought in to the venue include but are not limited to:

» Weapons of any kind (including pepper spray)
» Alcohol
» Illegal drugs/substances
» Glass containers
» Cans and aluminum water containers
» Coolers/Ice chests
» Large or oversized bags/backpacks, such as luggage, duffel bags, or industrial/camping-sized backpacks or anything larger than 12″x12″x6″
» Laser pointers
» Animals (except service animals)
» Fireworks
» Blankets
» Sitting pillows
» Lighters/Matches
» Markers/Pens
» Umbrellas
» Beach balls
» Aerosol cans
» Strollers/Skateboards/Bicycles
» Large metal key chains
» Wallets with chains or chain accessories
» Spikes
» Open containers of any kind
» Camelbacks/Water backpacks
» Spray sunblock
» Misting fans
» Frozen water bottles
» Unsealed cigarettes
» Chairs

Live Nation reserves the right to adjust Glen Helen Amphitheater policies at its sole discretion or the discretion of artists without any prior notice.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is PROHIBITED in the seating area. Smoking areas are located in the Plazas. While they do not restrict smoking on the lawn, if guests around you are complaining you will be asked to smoke in the plaza.

Emergency protocol 

The Glen Helen Amphitheater takes the safety of its attendees very seriously and has an emergency protocol in place to respond to various situations. First aid stations are located at accessible points throughout the venue, and an on-site medical team equipped to handle any medical emergencies, are available during event days. 

If you need medical assistance or witness an emergency, alert venue staff or security immediately. Staff members are trained to respond quickly and will either direct you to the appropriate help or call for emergency services.

You will hear an announcement from the team If there is any urgent protocol that needs to be followed throughout the day.
